I tell great stories. Through my work, I have spoken for those who do not know how to tell their story, and for those who cannot. Yet I am also passionate about collaborating with and teaching others to tell their own stories.
Whether it’s providing strategic communications direction to an NGO in West Africa, or teaching a small child how to shoot a film of their home and community on a phone, people become empowered when they have the tools and the knowledge to be able to tell their own story.
When given advice, a strategic plan, a pen or a camera phone, people have the confidence to share themselves with the world.
Let me work with you and give you the tools to effectively bring your story to life.
I have been deployed into humanitarian emergencies to assist with recovery and rebuilding, and to communicate situations to the wider world.
In times like these, the scene may be confronting. You hold yourself together to capture the story. When time is of the essence, you adapt. When you don’t have time to assemble a tripod, you climb a tree and use your smartphone.
Just as I adapt to emergency situations, I have adapted my skill set. I tell stories through film, through photography, through the written word. I am a triple threat! In the ever-changing digital landscape, the aces up your sleeve help you to tell a story in a variety of ways.
Let me help you find a creative way to share your story.
There are many important stories out in there in the Big Wide World.
How do you set your story apart?
I have led and contributed to teams in numerous steps of the creative journey, resulting in powerful campaigns. I understand that all parts of the project puzzle are as important as each other. Whether it’s the initial concept, the budget, or the strategy, the television commercial, social media campaign, or design, all components play their part in delivering your message. My experience will help you shape your story in a unique way resulting in maximum reach and impact.
When all parts of the puzzle align, your story becomes clear.
I am an award-winning film producer. I have helped to tell the stories of individuals, of communities, and of social issues. The world of film animates the sights, the smells, the landscape and the emotion of my subject.
I understand the power of bringing the viewer into the world of another person, even if for a fleeting moment. It brings empathy and understanding. The human experience is best when shared.
Every story is important. What is yours?
